1: Capacity gap analysis

Understanding the existing landscape of capacity-building and vocational training is crucial to identifying key knowledge gaps and determining how these can be integrated into mainstream training programmes. The project evaluates the current training landscape to identify gaps in energy storage-related knowledge and skills. The skill gap assessment helps integrate storage-specific competencies into mainstream vocational and professional training frameworks.

2: Designing Targeted Training Programmes

Training modules are tailored to diverse audiences — from working professionals to vocational trainees.
Courses incorporate:
â–  Practical insights from demonstration projects
â–  Application-oriented learning
â–  Modern teaching formats, including digital and blended learning
The aim is to create industry-relevant, future-ready skillsets.

3: Training implementation and continuous update

Trainings are delivered through consortium and partner institutions, including private and public sector collaborators. Certification mechanisms are emphasised to enhance professional recognition and employability. The project works toward ensuring strong participation of women and promoting inclusivity in the energy workforce.
