The stakeholder discussion covered the critical skill gaps in India’s Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) ecosystem, including deficiencies in training content, limited practical exposure, and the shortage of skilled and certified professionals. Hosted by IESA in Pune under the StoREin project, the roundtable brought together industry leaders to explore solutions for workforce readiness and certification pathways, generating insights to inform modern, scalable, and industry-aligned training programs that strengthen India’s energy storage sector and support the clean energy transition.
